Sharon H. Fischlowitz

Sharon loves books, all sorts of books. She insists on keeping the 1976 Bicentennial edition of the World Book Encyclopedia because it’s a snapshot of that time (with a paragraph about Governor Jimmy Carter). She has a few copies of The Lombard Laws, translated by Katherine Fischer Drew, because she likes to make it easy for others to “get to know” these early legal texts. She is enjoying the Chief Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny and keeps a stack of children’s books at the office for zoom calls with her niece in Montana. She also loves live theater, hiking, and Cameron’s cooking.

Sharon earned her undergraduate degree in comparative arts from Washington University and her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, now Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Currently, she serves on the advisory board of Project Hive Pet Company, the boards of the Creative Tech Alliance and Black Label Movement, and the finance committee of the Lexington Hamline Community Council.
